In order to meet consumer expectations, Mure & Peyrot decided to follow French standards for safety knives and industrial blades because they are stricter than European ones.
For example, a decree of January 13, 1976 requires food safety knives made of stainless steel to be at least 13% chromium, while European standards only require 12.5% chromium. This selection guarantees compliance with French and European regulations.
In addition, Mure & Peyrot develops and manufactures products that are automatically recognized by a metal detector if a knife is dropped or rubbed in production.
