  • The following topics were considered:
  • Requirements for the use of special clothes
  • Correct PPE labeling
  • Best practices for the use of protective spec. clothes
  • Organization of the special washing process. clothes
Our experts helped us present Best Practices:
    Natalia Kolganova
General Director of Food Audit Company
    Mikhail Kozlov
    Quality Specialist HACCPER International Team
    Irina Fomina
    Expert HACCPER Quality Assistance
    Ekaterina Iskhakova
Head of the food and medical department of Technoavia
    Vladimir Saitgareev
Head of the Food Safety Training Center
The first part of our webinar was devoted to the issues of regulatory requirements for the use of workwear, common mistakes when using workwear. Natalya Kolganova presented a list of the main regulations governing the use of PPE at enterprises in the field of food circulation for various industries. Based on these documents, the participants received a list of key criteria for choosing special clothing that can help to choose PPE for a specific situation.
Natalia also spoke about typical mistakes that food enterprises, restaurants, cafes make when using specials. clothes. The main mistakes include washing at home, improper storage or no protective special at all. clothes.
Labeling issues have been one of the key topics in recent years. The introduction of the technical regulation of the Customs Union 019/2011 obliged all PPE manufacturers to apply such marking, and enterprises to use only marked products. As usually happens in such situations, both of them have a lot of questions. Some of them were answered by Mikhail Kozlov, who told what requirements we have for special marking. clothing and what should be required of the PPE supplier in this regard. Using the example of the marking of HACCPER aprons and oversleeves, Mikhail showed how the correct marking of specials looks like. clothes, which elements must be mandatory, and which are applied at the request of the manufacturer.
Our general partner - HACCPER presented the best practices for equipping employees of various enterprises working with food products of protective specials. clothes made of polymeric materials HACCPER Evatex and Uretex. Irina Fomina spoke about the options for classic equipment, as well as the use of aprons and oversleeves by employees working in cold rooms or when performing a wash at the enterprise.
Irina also highlighted the problem of using protective equipment made from other materials when working with food. Products made of latex, vinyl or fabric have proven to be unacceptable for use in food processing facilities due to degradation or toxicity. A comparative table for the selection of materials for specials is now available for all participants. clothing based on key criteria.
Equipping employees working in cold rooms with special insulated clothing is an equally important issue. A common mistake is to use ordinary home clothes that are not intended for professional washing, do not protect from cold and moisture, and are not comfortable to use. What special. clothes to use in this case, said Ekaterina Iskhakova. The Fridge series is a special clothing for employees working at low temperatures. A special fabric and an original design allow you to protect the employee from cold and dirt, make the employee's work convenient, comfortable.
Ekaterina also talked about 3 reasons for choosing special clothing, compared to usual: Comfort, hygiene, as well as protection and safety.
Many participants in our programs talked about the problem associated with visits by employees of engineering services, visitors to production areas. They often ignore the existing requirements for food safety, believing that if they are not production workers, then they can be guided by "their" requirements. As Natalia Kolganova said, this is a complete delusion. Anyone entering a food business must comply with food safety requirements. It doesn't matter if it's a repairman, an auditor, or even a governor. Since this creates certain risks for food products.
An outfit option was presented by Natalia together with our partner HACCPER - the Evatex Duo apron - a two-sided apron in black and orange - allows you to highlight the technical staff and ensure compliance with food safety requirements.
The use of reusable specials. garments require proper washing and handling. Doing this at home or using household products (powders, household washing machines) is unacceptable. For these purposes, you must have your own laundry or conclude an agreement with a special organization. Vladimir Saitgareev spoke about the important points when organizing a laundry. The issue of organizing a laundry requires significant study: from washing products to choosing a room and finishing materials. In this webinar, only the issue of washing flow and room organization was considered. One of the important conditions is a clear separation between areas for sorting dirty clothes and areas for storing clean ones. It is also necessary to organize a sanitization process for clothes baskets to avoid re-contamination.
At the end of the webinar, according to tradition, a survey of participants was organized, as a result of which more than 90% of participants said that the solutions presented were Best Practices. Almost 90% opted for special protective equipment (aprons and sleeves) made of polymeric materials HACCPER Evatex (ethylene vinyl acetate) and HACCPER Uretex (thermopolyurethane) as the most relevant to food safety criteria. And almost 96% made their choice in favor of special clothing Technoavia Fridge instead of the usual one when working in low temperatures.

We thank all participants for their active participation in our programs, questions, criticism and suggestions. The next program will be held on November 25 and will be devoted to the certification of enterprises according to various standards.
